8 hours in Saint Tropez

Have you ever wanted to visit a place so bad even if you had limited time?

I had 8 hours to see as much as I could of Saint Tropez, and I made it my mission!

Whether you're in the mood for a swim, an afternoon of water sports, a party or just a simple relaxing journey followed by a meal, this 8 hour in Saint Tropez guide will show you how to make the best out of your trip.

Beaches

Saint-Tropez is a beach lover's paradise - this is a very quite and large sandy beach which is perfect if you want to just relax, read a book and tan.

This beach was packed; I am not surprised considering the beach is absolutely beautiful. The water is so clean, clear and calm and no boats in sight. If you manage to find yourself a nice quite corner, then this could be a super peaceful experience. If you are looking for more of an adventurous experience, then you can take part in watersports and join the crowds.

This is definitely more of a family type of beach. If you want, you can rent sunbeds which are quite expensive or you could just simply lay out a towel on the sand - depends on your preferences.

The famous Nikki beach! I have heard so much about this place and was super excited to check it out for myself. If you are in the mood to party, then this is the place for you. This place is super crowded and upbeat. The pool area was completely packed and it was impossible to find a spot to sit so you would need to arrive a little earlier to ensure a spot, but you can rent a sunbed on the other side where it is a little less crowded. It is close to the beach but not beach front and expect to slightly dress up since it is a beach club after all.

Restaurants:

On the way back to Cannes, we were starving so we came across a strip of café’s and restaurants that have benches on the outside on synthetic grass. It looked cute so we figured we would make a quick stop and try it out.

We ordered a few side dishes to snack on such as the salmon sashimi and edamame. The food and service was great but of course, like most sushi restaurants, it was on the expensive side.

This restaurant/ café is made for people on the go! You can get mini pasta bowls, sandwiches, energy bars, they offer almost everything. We got a whole grilled chicken between the two of us. I don’t know if I was just super hungry or if the food was that good - I’m going to go with the latter.

Whether it is a weekend or not, I’d say 2 days are enough to see more or less everything in this charming town. There’s something for everyone in Saint Tropez. I would definitely go back again to experience some of the history and spend more time laying on the beach and topping up my golden tan!
