Moving houses, apartments or countries can become so overwhelming. It has repeatedly been listed as one of the top 10 most stressful events in life. I have moved and lived in 4 countries and approximately 12 different homes in my lifetime… Yup, that is a life of an expat for you. I have gotten so used to moving countries and homes. I love fresh starts and I adapt super well, however that whole ‘home moving’ process is the stressful part.

So aside from finding the right place, there’s the packing and unpacking process. Then, discovering the local shops and transferring services, along with hiring professional movers. I cannot express how much relief it is when you have professional movers to take that weight off your shoulders! Take it from someone that has clearly moved so many times.

I go through company reviews because boy have I heard and read so many horror stories about moving companies, particularly in NYC. Whether it be mishandled/ broken furniture, or unprofessional staff that just makes the whole process even more of a hassle.
